"After Injuring my Achilles Tendon at the end of 2022, It took a while before I was allowed to start training again, and after not training for a couple of months I found it hard to find the motivation to start again, a friend of mine suggested I reach out to Clint and try start a journey with him.

"As I went into my 30s i started to realise that I couldn't take for granted the natural firness and athleticism I had in my 20s and that if I wanted to maintain a good quality of life I would need to start exercising on a regular basis, The only problem was I thought that exercise was difficult and building a consistent routine seemed to be beyond me.
At some point Clint popped up on my feed and it seemed like he was nearby. It turned out he was just down the road from me which was ideal. I didn't quite know what to expect but from the beginning I trusted that Clint did. The usual friction of deciding what exercise to do and and what time disappeared. I simply showed up 3 times a week and followed the program, which also included an eating plan. Soon enough, afternoon workouts turned to 5am workouts no matter what the weather was like. "When I started with Clint I didn't have much muscle mass & was looking to put on lean muscle mass without gaining too much fat. I started at 66KG and over the span of 3 years I have gone up to 78KG with significant muscle growth.
I had quite an unhealthy relationship with food, not really aware of the correct things to eat - often switching between diets. "What I’ve realised is that it feels like my body goes into a form of strike when I need to train and go on a eating plan or whatever. It messes with my motivation and it’s difficult to stay consistent.
However, EliteFitt changed that approach for me. Having one on one sessions made it a bit more personal. You don’t just feel like another client, and your goals and vision are approached in a unique and personalised way.
One of the things that I appreciate the most of EliteFitt, is that it feels like they focus on the mental health more, and the physical workout feels like secondary. " Training with Clint not only helped me achieve my fitness goals, but it also laid a good foundation for ongoing fitness practice. I trained at EliteFitt for just under four years and only stopped because I relocated away from Cape Town to the eastern side of the country. My training experience was an affirming and supportive one throughout my time at EliteFitt. I did things I never thought I could; I discovered a love for running, got fitter in my late 30s than I’d ever been before, and lost over 35 kilograms.
The techniques that Clint taught me have served me well in my ongoing fitness journey.
